The National Széchényi Library is located in the 1st district of the capital,
in building F of the Buda Castle.
Its official address is: 1014 Budapest, Szent György tér 4–5–6.
Its main entrance opens from the Lion’s Courtyard, located between the National Gallery and the National Széchényi Library.

By car
If you arrive by car, we recommend you park (you will have to pay for parking) on Dózsa György Square on Palota Street (GPS: 47.49 N, 19.03 E), or in the Castle Garage (Várgarázs). You need a special permit to drive into the territory of the Buda Castle! A permit can only be purchased at the Várkapitányság [4] (a company handling properties in the Buda Castle).
