On Tuesday, 16th September 2025 at 10 a.m. the National Széchényi Library held a ceremonial press conference to announce the donation of forty digitalized Corvinas from the Austrian National Library. Thanks to this contribution, the majority of the surviving Corvinas can now be accessed online by researchers and enthusiasts alike via the Bibliotheca Corvina Virtualis website.
Between 2nd and 6th July 2025 China hosted the professional meeting named International Forum of Library Directors, which was also attended by Dávid Rózsa, Director General of the Hungarian National Library.
On 25th June 2025 a delegation from the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Budapest paid an official visit to the National Széchényi Library of the Hungarian National Museum Public Collection Centre.
Between 15th and 17th June 2025 Dávid Rózsa, Director General represented the Hungarian national library at the annual general meeting of CENL in Edinburgh.
The aim of the meeting was to lay the foundations for long-term, institutionalized cultural and scientific relations.
On 29th July 2025 a delegation from the International Library and Information Science Society (I-LISS) paid an official visit to our library to explore opportunities for future cooperation.
On 17th June the official delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Hungary visited the MNMKK OSZK (National Széchényi Library), where they discussed opportunities for cultural and scientific cooperation with the Hungarian side.
The MNMKK National Széchényi Library welcomed a delegation of South Korean civil servants on 18th June. During a rich and friendly professional program, the guests had the opportunity to learn about the work of the national library of Hungary.
