The National Library of Foreign Literature (OIK) and the French Institute established a strategic partnership at their meeting on 13th March 2025.
The National Library's music collection has been enriched with a number of specialities. The collection of 248 Hungarian folk music and choral works donated by the National Library of Australia was presented to the public on 28 January.

A delegation of the China International Book Trading Corporation visited the National Széchényi Library of the Hungarian National Museum Public Collection Centre on 8 November 2024.
As part of the 4th Haydneum Autumn Festival, journalists from abroad had the opportunity to gain an insight into the special conservation and digitisation work carried out between the Haydneum – Hungarian Centre for Early Music and the national library. The visit took place on 8 November 2024 in the building of the HNMPCC NSZL.
The conference Heritage Preservation for a Sustainable Future was held in Yerevan for the second time this year, organised by the National Library of Armenia. The event aims to highlight the importance of cultural heritage preservation for promoting sustainable development.
