On Saturday, 20 June 2026, the NSZL will be more than just a library – it will be an experience!
On 25 March 2026, our library hosted a ceremonial reception organised by the Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to Budapest on the occasion of Greek Independence Day.
The meeting focused on opportunities to strengthen cultural relations, as well as on a planned inter-institutional cooperation.
On 27 March 2026, a cooperation agreement was concluded between the National Széchényi Library (NSZL) and the French Institute in Hungary.
On 24 March 2026, the Azerbaijani book corner was ceremonially inaugurated at the National Library of Foreign Literature (NLFL). The event marks another milestone in Hungarian–Azerbaijani library cooperation.
On 19 March 2026 Caroline Savage, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of the United States in Budapest, paid an official visit to our library.
