The Ambassador of Kosovo to Hungary at the National Széchényi Library

On 24 April 2026, Delfin Pllana, the Ambassador of Kosovo to Hungary, paid an official visit to our library, accompanied by Laura Ladomérszky, Executive Assistant. The meeting focused on opportunities to strengthen cultural relations, as well as on a planned inter-institutional cooperation.

The delegation was received by Director General Dávid Rózsa and Zoltán Lewalt-Jezierski, Head of the Director General’s Cabinet. Particular attention during the discussions was given to the preparation of a cooperation agreement with the National and University Library of Kosovo, and the parties also explored further possibilities for cultural collaboration.

As part of the official programme, Ambassador Delfin Pllana and his accompanying partner visited the exhibition The Novel of the Century to Come, which centres on a dialogue between 19th-century visions of the future and the realities of the 20th century through the world of Mór Jókai’s work of the same title. The delegation then toured the Vershaza hall of our permanent exhibition.
