This issue is unique in the history of our periodical, as while it is a coherent piece in itself, it can also be interpreted as the continuation of the recently published first issue dedicated to Szeklerland. After the presentation of the literature of Szeklerland from the medieval beginnings to World War II, now we offer a multi-faceted, kaleidoscopic picture of the past 70 years of the literary achievements of the Szekler national community, although we cannot assume a more detailed elaboration or a stricter organization of the topic. The backbone of the present issue is made up by writer portraits, essays of literary history (on Sándor Kányádi, László Király, Árpád Farkas and István Ferenczes among others) and the writings of authors like László Lövétei Lázár, Vilmos Molnár, Attila György, Sándor Muszka, György Lőrincz, Vince Fekete and Levente Csender.

Literary Journal, a quarterly joint publication of Magyar Napló and National Széchényi Library is a richly illustrated magazine of more than 100 pages, primarily dedicated to the broad audience, but also well usable as educational material. Its thematic issues always focus on one classical author, period of literary history or cultural phenomenon. Apart from including texts so far unpublished, Literary Journal can also significantly broaden the horizon of re-reading. The previous issues were dedicated to Gyula Illyés, Sándor Márai, Géza Gárdonyi, Gyula Krúdy and Miklós Zrínyi.
