On 22 June, the national library will be alive with the hustle and bustle of the event related to Midsummer. A colourful programme of events will make the evening sparkle with activities for all ages.

On 16 May 2024, the most recently published corvinas on the Bibliotheca Corvina Virtualis site were presented at a press conference in the Founder’s Hall of the NSZL.

Due to technical reasons, the National Széchényi Library will be closed on Thursday, 9 May 2024.

On Friday, May 10, we will be open according to the regular opening hours!

Director General Dávid Rózsa presented our library to PR and communication professionals at the Connect Conference on 11 April 2024. 

In line with its mission, the NSZL donated 453 books to the library of Pribeník on 11 April 2024 to improve its book collection. The NSZL also presented more than 140 colouring and activity books to local preschool and primary school children.
