After the meeting, the delegation visited the building and the Land of Poems exhibition, which focuses on the manuscripts and most important editions of our emblematic poems – the Hymn, the Appeal, the National Song – treasured in the National Library.

The guests visited our temporary exhibition The Forms of Time and the indoor exhibition of football-themed films, posters, manuscripts and artefacts in the NSZL's ceremonial hall, which was set up for the 2024 European Football Championship.

The meeting continued with a presentation of the library's digitisation equipment and activities by Manó Barnabás Kukár, Deputy Head of the Collection Preservation Department, who gave the guests an insight into the complex tasks of digitisation and the process of handling legal deposit copies.

Finally, Csilla Kőrösi and Anna Laskai from the Research and Special Collections Department showed our guests some of the unique treasures related to Chinese culture that are kept at the NSZL.
