Visit of the Ambassador of Cuba

On 5 September 2024, Cuba's Ambassador to Hungary, Guillermo Vázquez Moreno, visited the National Library. The diplomat was welcomed by Dávid Rózsa, Director General of the National Széchényi Library of the Hungarian National Museum Public Collection Centre, Judit Gerencsér, Deputy Director General, and Zoltán Lewalt-Jezierski, Head of the Director General's Cabinet.
During the meeting, future cultural cooperation opportunities and programmes between the two countries' national libraries were discussed. The Ambassador also presented the National Library of Cuba with a donation of books and works by Cuban authors.
