The National Library is open during the Wine Festival

Library visitors can collect a special wristband for the Wine Festival – allowing them to pass through the festival area – by presenting their reader’s membership card at the security service entrance at Palota street (Palota út) elevator access point.
Festival staff will provide further information about entry procedures on site.

Please note that during the 34th Budapest Wine Festival, stopping to wait and parking along the entire length of Szent György street – up to the Royal Guard Hall building – is prohibited.

Entry to the Csikós Courtyard via the Palota street – Lovarda street route is only allowed if you sign up with your car registration number in advance.

Those planning to enter through the Szent György street barrier via the Palota street – Hunyadi street – Dísz square route also have to sign up with their car registration number in advance to be able to get through the barrier.
