A delegation of the China International Book Trading Corporation visited the National Széchényi Library of the Hungarian National Museum Public Collection Centre on 8 November 2024.

The delegation was welcomed by Judit Gerencsér, Deputy Director General of the HNMPCC NSZL. During the meeting, the Deputy Director General gave a detailed presentation on the mission and tasks of the national library of Hungary and presented its history. The guests were also given an insight into the activities and services of the National Library of Foreign Literature, which is managed by the HNMPCC NSZL.

During the meeting, future cooperation opportunities were discussed, and the Chinese delegation was led on a tour of the building by Zsófia Szádeczky-Kardoss, staff member of the Collection Management Division of the HNMPCC NSZL. The guests had the opportunity to learn about the history of the library building and to visit the permanent exhibitions.
At the end of the visit, Csilla Kőrösi and Ágnes Bessenyei from the Research and Special Collections Division presented the guests with special treasures related to Chinese culture that the library has in its collection.
