Pauline Anthology

Pauline Anthology is a collection of literary text designed for educational purposes. Its pages are written by and about the Pauline Fathers. The anthology includes both complete works and extracts.
The chapters and topics are introduced by essays which provide background to the passages and characters in the chapters and sometimes justify the choice of excerpts.

The compilation does not, and cannot, aim to be exhaustive in its coverage of the fiction of the Pauline Fathers and the works written about them, both because of the limits of its scope and because of its target audience, which is the educated public interested in the Pauline Order and literature but not, for example, not speaking Latin.
Our aim is to arouse interest in the works of Pauline authors and in literary works related to the Paulines, and through them to the Order, not hiding our hope that the 21st century will enrich Hungarian literature with further works inspired by the Paulines.
