Our traditional exhibition presenting the best of maps produced by the Hungarian map making community in 2017 will be open in the Ceremonial Hall of NSZL between March 24 and April 7, 2018.

Hereby we would like to inform you that National Széchényi Library will be closed between March 15 and 19, 2018. Between March 15 and 19, our temporary exhibitions will also be closed to visitors.

We are looking forward to seeing you again in the morning of Tuesday March 20.

Lecture series entitled Orientalists in NSZL will be continued with a lecture to be delivered by András Róna-Tas.

Dear Visitors,

Hereby we would like to inform you that there will be film shooting in National Széchényi Library between March 8 and 12, 2018. Due to the movement of the crew and the large number of actors, light noise and partial, temporary restrictions can be expected, that will probably not cause any disruption to the use of the Library.

Since film shooting will take place in the inner spaces of the Library on Saturday March 10, 2018, NSZL will be closed on that day.
