This year too, Map Collection of National Széchényi Library keeps on presenting library founder Count Ferenc Széchényi’s map collection including several thousands of items.
In the summer, even during the annual closure of NSZL, special guided tours of our János Arany exhibition entitled “Others Get Laurel Only by Leaves…” will be held at 4 p.m. every Thursday and Saturday.
Organized groups can apply for other hours as well, but preliminary notice is required at least two weeks prior to the planned visit. Orders can be placed at the following e-mail address: csoportvezetes@oszk.hu.
The 49th Roaming Conference of the Association of Hungarian Librarians (AHL) was held in Miskolc between July 5 and 7, 2017. Central theme of the roaming conference of AHL was the improvement of the quality of life of our narrower and wider social environment, as well as the study of its boundaries.
